Why We Care So Much About Quality (And Probably More Than Is Healthy)

At SUM SHIRTS, we have a simple philosophy:
If you open your package and think, "Wow, this is nicer than I expected," we've done our job.
If you open your package and immediately put the shirt on, we've really done our job.
If you open your package, put the shirt on, refuse to take it off, and start wondering if your other shirts have been lying to you your entire life... that's the dream.
The truth is, there are a lot of companies selling t-shirts. Some are great. Some are not. Some feel like they were made from recycled cardboard and disappointment. Not here.

We decided early on that we didn't want to be the company that wins because we're the cheapest. We wanted to be the company that makes people say:
"Wait... I paid THIS price for THIS? NICE!"
That's why we obsess over things most people never think about. Fabric. Fit. Print quality. Packaging. Customer service. The little details that nobody notices when they're done rightâbut everybody notices when they're done wrong.
Could we use cheaper shirts? Sure.
Could we cut corners? Probably.
Could we save a few bucks and hope nobody notices? Absolutely.
But then we'd have to look at ourselves in the mirror while wearing a mediocre t-shirt, and nobody deserves that.
We believe customers should feel like they got more than they paid for. Not because it's a clever business strategy (although it probably is), but because that's how we'd want to be treated... and we are good enough, gosh darn it!

When you buy from SUM SHIRTS, you're supporting a small family business that genuinely gets excited when an order comes in. We're not a giant corporation with 47 departments and a boardroom full of people discussing "synergistic apparel solutions."
We're just trying to make ridiculously soft shirts, provide great service, and leave people feeling like they got a little extra value, a little extra fun, and maybe their new favorite shirt.
That's the goal. Because life's too short for bad t-shirts.
Of course, we're a little biased. We think our shirts are ridiculously soft, our designs are fun, and our customer service is pretty solid. But every company says that.
So instead of asking you to trust us, we'll let our customers do the talking. We've collected our reviews in one place. Not because we're obsessed with them. Not because we read them repeatedly while eating snacks. Not because we've considered framing a few of them... Okay, maybe a little.
But if you're wondering whether people actually love our shirts as much as we do, take a look for yourself.
Fair warning: You may notice a suspicious number of comments about how soft the shirts are. We promise we didn't write them ourselves. Mostly.
